As part of our unit of inquiry (How We Organise Ourselves), which focuses on the clothing we wear, the Grade 1 students participated in a sewing project, each making a personalized pair of shorts. With the IGCSE exams approaching, Grade 10 students are starting their revision and the stress is slowly rising. As part of their pastoral lessons, the class was given the task to prepare an “exam survival kit” for one of their classmates. Kindergarten recently had some very special visitors. Céline Gorin and her dog, Luna, came to ISL to talk about their work in Tand’Aime, where they provide animal mediation services. On 19th January we had a visit from some volunteers at Handi’Chiens, which is an association whose objective is to train and provide assistance dogs to people who require support.
