During our outdoor learning sessions, the Senior Kindergarten Class engaged in an exciting project to create shelters for hedgehogs and insect hotels. Drawing inspiration from various pictures, students brainstormed the essential elements their shelters needed and carefully considered their placement. After constructing their designs, they reflected on their projects, identifying any aspects that could be improved and making adjustments as desired. This hands-on experience fostered creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration among the students. Check out their handiwork below!
