The Grade 11 English and French Language and Literature classes ventured down to the Musée Guimet in Lyon to see the temporary Shepard Fairey OBEY exhibition. Currently showing “1001 Reasons to Obey,” a display of 1001 of Fairey’s screen print pieces, the exhibition is the biggest of its kind from the artist. The collection will serve as a unit of study of a non-literary body of work for the two classes, and a potential subject for their oral exams.
