The ISL Chess Club re-formed this year and we now have 12 enthusiastic members playing. In January, we switched to playing all our games on the French online chess server Lichess. This acts as a referee, only allowing players to make legal moves, and timing games to fit into our single club period. Players can save and analyse all their games and they can track their rating level. Playing on Lichess has allowed us to have more members in the club and in the future we may also be able to enter tournaments online. You can see photos of some of the participants below.
