In the current Unit of Inquiry, Kindergarten has been inquiring into different types of art and artists. They are discovering how to express their ideas and feelings through art and to use their creativity to produce artwork. Recently, the Kindergarten classes had an art workshop with “Little Beaux Arts” on Frida Kahlo. Students learned about her origin and art pieces, and at the end, they created self-portraits inspired by Kahlo’s art, using a range of techniques and colours.
