Inspired by Steve Antony’s book ‘Please, Mr Panda’ – a story featuring only black-and-white animals – the Senior Kindergarten (SK) students have painted their very own black-and-white animals. Take a look at their gallery of paintings that range from zebras, huskies, skunks, wolves, pandas, badgers and white tigers. Steve Antony’s award-winning books often feature black-and-white illustrations, as he suffers from colour blindness and prefers not to use colours that he cannot see himself. As part of their transdisciplinary theme of How We Express Ourselves, the SK students have tried to do the same by only using black-and-white paint. You can see some of their creations below!
