Grade 11 went to a photography exhibition at Musée Jean Couty on 15th April. Jean Couty is a Lyon Painter and his museum on l’île Barbe is dedicated to his work. Nonetheless, other artists are featured at the museum as well. Here the famous photographer Robert Doisneau has been showcased for his photos of Lyon right after the second world war and for his work photographing famous painters’ workshops throughout the second half of the 20th century. It was a great privilege to see his photos in person!
