As part of our unit of inquiry about Architecture, Grade 5 visited Musée Tony Garnier to learn about the famous Lyonnais Architect Tony Garnier. Students learned about the life of Tony Garnier, the architectureand murals of the États Unis neighbourhood in Lyon, and about what a modern apartment was like in the 1930s in Lyon. We reflected on our trip after returning to school by creating 60-second presentations about our experience. Each student created at least 1 slide explaining what they had learned or answering questions they had after the visit. Afterwards students each had 1 minute to share their reflection with the class.
